I have an old 1890 certificate from Dr Tripplet\'s school hayes for the recognition of passing 3rd Standard in May 1890 signed by a W Henry Burr. We are wondering if there are any photos of this year as it is our grandmothers certificate. assistance appreciated.

Hayes boy at heart

I went to Dr Triplett\'s many years ago, first day in 1975 if you include Nursery and left in 1984 when I went to senior school. Some of my fondest memories are of Dr Triplett\'s. Still in Hayes fairly regularly seeing family and friends, often pass the school and that always brings back warm feelings. Looking at the pictures I remember the layout of the school and what was where. Would love to have a look round again, a real wander down memory lane. Glad to see the spirit of the school is still there and the sense of community - no doubt under Brian Paul it will lose none of that.

As a pupil a very long time ago I\'m curious as whether any of your guestbook participants where at the Old School, as I was, in the 1955/8 period. I am now 62 years old and have in Cape Town, South Africa, most of my life having left the UK around 1960. Bob Inskip
