Elvis was gifted by God with one of the most distinctive and beautiful voices ever. Only a few other artist come to mind where great pipes are concerned.
Whitney Houston...Celine Dion..dolly parton...Freddy Mercury. But Elvis is the KING of rock and roll.
I was assigned to the same barracks as Elvis was in in Germany. He actually died while I was stationed there from 76 to 81. I was entering the mess hall for breakfast on the 17th when I saw the stars and stripes. I couldn\'t eat my breakfast. Such a great loss to all of us. Rest in peace Elvis.

No one realizes how much Elvis is missed by all the generations . I miss him dearly. And when he would sing a religiuos song or ballet, i would tear up and get the chills . What a beautiful voice to not hear it any more.
