If you know of someone who is living with Dementia; a family member or friend please, feel free to mention our Cafés.

These are held, every month, across various parts of the Wigan Boro'.

Dementia Cafés offer a relaxed social gathering for people with dementia and their carers. As well as a cuppa, you can also get advice, information, support and make new friends. You are welcome to come to all of our Cafés or just one that is local to you.

** Ashton-in-Makerfield Café is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm ~ held at the Diamond Club on Grey Road.

** Standish Café is held on the second Tuesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm ~ held at St. Wilfred’s Parish Hall

** Leigh Café is held on the third Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm ~ held at Leigh Cricket, Tennis and Bowling Club,

** Wigan Café is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm ~ held at the The Wheel Restaurant @ Wigan & Leigh College

**Hindley Café is held once a month at Summat to Ate, 48-50 Market Street, Hindley,


** Carers Support Groups **
**Ashton Carers Support Group is held on the third Monday of the month from 1pm to 3pm ~ held at the Diamond Club.

**Tyldesley Carers Support Group is held on the fourth Monday of the month from 1pm to 3pm ~ held at Damm House, Astley Hall Drive
