Retailers of outboard motors did not manufacture. They bought either made to
retailers specs or more often a slightly adapted version of product sold thru
other channels.
SO...1st order of business is to identify your motor and track down the
manufacturer. More than likely your outboard was made by one of three or
four companies...none of which shared more than the name Wizard.
If not removed the ID tag will solve the puzzle, in any case a picture or two
will remove any doubt.
Send pictures and id tag info asap...curious minds want to know.
