WM7 Super 10 Information Needed - Lower unit ID and Impeller

I have a 1955-1956 WM7 Super 10 I just acquired. It may need a new lower unit. Looks to be a smooth shaft like the KE7.

Can someone tell me what Merc Impeller this motor takes, and would this take a KE7 lower unit if I need a replacement? It's definately got a smooth propshaft. I don't know if this one is going to want to hold it's own mud (lubriplate 105) due to chips and cracks around the water pump impeller cover.

Thanks.

Dan

Measure prop shaft diameter. If a 5/8" diameter KF7 or KG7
Manual says WM7/WM7A lower unit KG7 type....which
does not mean same as KG7...Mercury sometimes did things that make it difficult to swap parts between
Wizard and Mercury.
