12hp Wizard prop

Looking for a replacement prop for a 12hp Wizard I just purchased. Any help is appreciated

Re: 12hp Wizard prop

Post your outboard's model number, and that way we can better help you figure out what prop you'll need.

Re: 12hp Wizard prop

The info plate is not 100% visible, but, what I can see at the top of the plate are the #'s 1189, Next line M6912A, and 4400- 5500 rpm. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 12hp Wizard prop

Ok - Your Wizard is a 1960 model made by McCulloch. I believe the 12HP and 14HP shared the same prop. You might want to contact the seller of this ebay listing to figure out if this one will work for you:

OR, place a free wanted ad here:

(Someone is bound to have one to sell you for a reasonable price.)

In addition to being sold as a Wizard, that model would have also been sold at Sears under the "Elgin" label during that year.

Hope this helps.

Re: 12hp Wizard prop

I looked at the prop from the last response, Could anyone check it out. I would like to find out if anyone knows whether it will work on my motor. I can't contact the seller. Thanks in advance...
