Have any of you tried installing a kill switch on one of these old wizard outboards? Is it advisable? Can it cause more problems than it is worth? Just curious to know what others think.
I've done a kill switch (push-button type) on one motor (single cylinder) and it was easy (the wire from the switch grounds the point, killing the spark). But as far as a safety lanyard type, I'm all for safety, but I personally wouldn't go to the trouble for a small HP model. Perhaps flawed logic on my part, so take it with a grain of salt.
