I just put a new water pump and pillar in the lower unit. What would be causing this to pump very little water?
I am getting some water out of the tell tail hole and also the exhaust holes on the mid section.

Any ideas why it is pumping just a little water out?

not an expert by far, but those don't really have a tell tale that I am aware of. It should spit a good amount out of the exhaust relief holes and a drip or two out of the small tube at the back of the motor. Most of the water goes down the leg and out under water. If you are running it and can put your hand on the motor it's not getting hot.
