I have a 54 Wizard Powermatic 12 that I am in the process of reviving. I am curious as to if there is anything in particular I should be aware of, or if anyone else has attempted to run these guys in saltwater.
It certainly will run in salt water, if that is what you want to do with it. Personally, I wouldn't do it, just because saltwater, if not flushed out thoroughly, can do a number on outboards. So, if you choose to do it, make sure you flush it out with freshwater often. Saltwater will also eat away at the paint over time, so make sure you give the exterior a good wash down, too.
