We need to make it perfectly clear that gas canisters should not be included in parcels sent through the Royal Mail or by any other carriers. We have accepted parcels here containing gas canisters but only when delivered by Challengers to our door in person. Anybody passing through Newtonmore requiring gas, just needs to tell us beforehand and we will get you some.

I made a serious mistake suggesting it and it was suitably, quickly and appropriately highlighted.


Ironically it is the easiest thing in the world to order kilos of gas cartridges to be delivered to your door using ebay or similar.


Still amazed that Blair Atholl don't sell cartridges.

it is always a matter of respect not to send hazmats through the post. Her Majesty would also be most vexed if she found Challengers did such a thing! A question - is there availability of gas canisters in Ft. Augustus? My August Son Liam was enquiring so I told him I would ask your good selves.
May I also ask that May be fine but that May not come on the Challenge or I shall have to consider Leaving but prefer to Remain throughout May in its entirety if I may.
