We would like to say a big thank you to all those who sent cards and letters of condolence. It was lovely to hear how Bernard had given encouragement and been remembered by so many Challengers on their first crossings and others over many years.

The Challenge was a big part of Bernard's life and even during his short stay in hospital he had some photos of the Challenge to look at.
