Jack Manko has passed away at age 73. He operated Manko's Sunoco in the Buffalo, N.Y., area for years and was co-sponsor (with Gene Emser) on Tommy Druar's Modifieds. His son, Tom, drag-raced at Lancaster Dragway in the mid-'70s ("Hot Tempered" Camaro) and his grandson, Joey, currently is a successful Late Model driver in the western N.Y. area. May he rest in peace.
