Just wondering if any old-timers out there remember the Lonsdale Arena in Cumberland, RI? It closed after a flood in 1955. I remember seeing great races there as a child. It was a high-banked oval track and was well supported during its short history. The premier division was the "Cut Downs" - predecessors to today's modifieds.
