From the Horses Mouth - Re: Billy Greco Question

Right from the horses mouth

Right from the horses mouth.  Billy won at Avon's
Cherry Park in Sharkey's #44.  Was never a Plainville champion and never
won in Sharkey's car at Plainville.  Won in Walt Kuryn's 00. Both the old
square coupe and the coach and the #43. Billy was also the one who recommended
Walt put Sparky Belmont in the 00. Sparky totaled the 00 Coupe at which time
Walt built the coach.  I also just ran across about 15 minutes of 8mm film
of Jap Membrino driving the 00 coach at Plainville which I'm transferring to
video and will have it on the web site when I finish my permanent move to
Florida in June. So I'm figuring some time in July or August.  Also his win
at Danbury was in Mario Fiore's #44 Chevette which was renumbered the #43, as
when Billy was accepted in Danbury's club he didn't have a car so Mario lent him
the #44 Chevette which wasn't being used anymore.  The eight Connecticut
tracks where Cherry Park, Bridgeport's Candlelight Stadium, West Haven,
Plainville, Danbury, Waterford, Stafford and Thompson.

Re: From the Horses Mouth - Re: Billy Greco Question

Many thanks to the "horse" for replying. I saw the wins at Plainville in the 00 square coupe - 2 or 3 in a row at the start of the season on Sunday afternoons if I remember correctly - just before Sparky started driving it.
