Could someone re-fresh my memory and tell me the first year that off-set modifieds were run? Who was it hat built the first off-set and where was it run? How long afterward before they were all offset? Any other interesting points about offset modifieds would be interesting.

Thought that Maynard Troyer came up with the offset frame. Wilsberg's #5 driven by Greg Sacks was featured in Stock Car Racing with mention/photos of frame offset.
