With the Beach Boys currently touring Britain with Mike, Bruce and David Marks we have 60% of the available Beach Boys. David Marks is also on the upcoming Al Jardine album. Could it be that he is acting as diplomat between the Beach Boys - a role that Carl Wilson performed to keep the Beach Boys together. With Al Jardine recently performing with Brian and with Brian also on Al's new album we now have a direct link of communication between them all.
Another thought - David Marks touring with Mike and Bruce will increase his exposure prior to the ultimate reunion. Mike Love is making a big thing about Dave's importance in the early years and his presence on the first 4 albums.
