I use the them exlusively since nobody carries any decent cotton pads anymore or have been out. They dont pick up soil as fast but are not as aggessive either. i like that you can wring them out on the job and keep going. I just did 4k of CGD in a seafood resty. I used them under My Orbot and Challenger I say they run better underneath the Challenger. I have 20bs of weight on the Orbot and 0 under the Challenger. I get mine from Directmopsales.com Its the same pad that Rick G and John G are selling I dont like Supersorbs Does anyone know where I can get cotton pads ?
Hey Steve, thanks for the info. I'm gonna order some right away. I'm not sure where you can find 100% cotton pads...The last big order we made was through Challenger. Have you checked with them?
Mike Sullivan of Austin TX, who sometimes posts here, recently brought some microfiber pads that he likes to my attention. They can be bought as 16" x 16" in size, in a variety of colors, including white. I ordered some, at $65 for a box of 50. They are somewhat thinner than I might like, but seem to work well. My plan is take all 50 to a commercial tailoring operation and have them stitch them into 25 2-ply pads. Find them here:
