Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

Hi all , just recieved my new Challenger and love it. I was wondering about the fiber plus pad . When to use it and dose it need to be wet like the cotton pads and do you use a Glider withe it ?
Thanks Kevin

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

Use it on heavily soiled traffic lanes to break up soil It does wonders on Berber type carpets Its primary use was intended for straight encapping. No it does not have to be wet to use. Although the area you are going to use it on should have already been presprayed No glider is needed hope this helps

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

What Steve said. You really can't wet it. It is so porous that liquid just drains through it. When you need more, go to www.excellent-supply.com. For super-bad commercial carpet, it's also good to have one of their FiberMax pads on hand. Those are the gray ones.

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

I had to use a FP pad on a real nasty job today.Low cut Berber with nasty pet stains. I tried just a coton pad at first but I was not satisfied with the results. I resprayed the entire room with Vac away Itensity green boosted with spot and boost. I scrubbed and the nasty stains seemed to melt away I repadded with cottons and the carpet looked darn near new

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

Steve, did the addition of the Spot & Boost create some level of odor?

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

No Not that noticeable The lemon smell of the I Green
may have masked the Chemical smell

Re: Fiber-Plus Scrubber Pad

Try the Spot N Boost Green. Same results, no nasty smell.
