challenger as a buffer

Is it possible to use the challenger as a floor buffer machine? Or is it to much machine? If you can use it as a buffer how would you go about it? Thanks for any replies. Sam

Re: challenger as a buffer

What kind of floor do you want to buff? And by buff, do you mean shine? strip? or what?

Re: challenger as a buffer

Actually I was wanting to know if it can strip the wax from a tile floor and if it can perform as a buffer machine to buff a cleanly waxed floor.

Re: challenger as a buffer

This is not a service I offer (stripping floors) so I can't give you an answer based on personal experienced. I would think that with a white floor pad, or a lambs wool bonnet, you could raise a very nice shine with an OP. Anyone out there do this?

Re: challenger as a buffer

Strips great buffs ok I have used my Challenger alot for stripping doesnt sling stripper all over the walls or baseboards due to the oscillation Scrubs better than my dual speed due to oscilation. When ued as a buffer with red pads it will pass. My dual speed buffer is faster due to its size and speed

Re: challenger as a buffer

Steve, what type pad do you use for stripping? Would it be the same pad that a normal buffer machine uses? Thanks.......Sam

Re: challenger as a buffer

Yup black to strip and red to buff
