I usually use hel-gel orange from vacaway on gum, however a customer pulled out Robinson lighter fluid recently, and it really melted the gum, I was able to add some hel-gel afterwards and easily pull it from the carpet, usually I would have to scrape at it, does anyone else have any helpful tips for getting gum out?
I usually use Goo-Gone, which I think is a product available nationally. Don't know if lighter fluid could possibly cause damage to carpet fibers or to the base.
