Commercial cleaning

Does this machone work for commercial cleaning? I have a cleaning business where I have various accounts with apartment complexes. When someone moves out, we go in a clean and get it ready to re-rent. They would like us to also start doing the carpets as well. I am wondering if this can be done with these machines or do I need to invest in a truck mounted system. Any info would be great, thank you.

Re: Commercial cleaning

In carpet cleaning, the term "commercial" usually refers to the size of a job, although it also refers to a type of short cut pile carpeting often found on commercial premises. So the cleaning of an apartment might be considered to be a residential job, at least size-wise. Many people with Challengers do jobs like this. If and when you start doing larger commercial jobs - large offices, hotel ballrooms and long hallways, etc., then you might want to consider adding a machine that will enable you to clean these areas faster than you can with the standard-size Challenger. Orbital machines that can work very profitably for you at this level include the Challenger Max, the larger Orbitecs, such as the CX20, as well as the HOS Orbot Sprayborg. I sell all of these machines as well as the standard-size Challenger. Let me know if you want more info on any or all of these.

Re: Commercial cleaning

Mark,

I am interested in learning the difference between all of the above machines. Please email me at gusmotorman@hotmail.com with comparisons, pricing, etc.

Thanks !

Re: Commercial cleaning

Re. the Challenger Max: unfortunately, Challenger continues to hide this machine under a barrel (figuratively speaking, anyway) If you go to http://www.challengerop.com, then go to the "price list" page, then click on the "Challenger Max" line, I think a picture comes up. If more info is available, I can't think of where it it.
Re. Orbitecs, go to http://www.orbitecsolutions.com.
Re. the HOS (Hruby) machines, visit http://www.hos-usa.com. For the Oreck LowBoy, visit
http://www.oreckcommercial.com, and find a link to "rotary machines". That should get you started.
