SummerFest Classes

SummerFest Committee is proud to announce the 2007 SF instructor and classes.

SummerFest Class Location : Bolden HydroLab
SummerFest IX Class Instrutor: Kurt Bolden

SummerFest Class fee is $75.00 per person per class. Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

Students will need to dress comfortably for classes as there will be a lot of movement and hands-on training.

Students registered for class will be automatically entered in the drawing for the prizes.

Thursday August 2, 2007

Class 1: 8:00am - 12:00pm:

“Hands-On Extraction and Airmover Performance Testing”

This “hands-on” class will provide performance testing with a variety of extraction tools and axial and conventional airmovers. Bring your own truckmount for the “truckmount challenge” that will be held during the lunch break. Extraction tables will be setup outside to see how your truckmount performs.

12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch

Prize Drawing 1: A Hydro Lab Course up to a value of $1195.00. Students must be present to win.

Class 2: 1:00pm - 5:00pm:

“New Technology for Detecting Moisture in a Structure”

This “Hands-On” class will provide training in finding, mapping and monitoring moisture in a structure. This class will include mapping, meters, and NEW remote monitoring system techniques and information.

Prize Drawing 2: Inspection Kit (valued at $2500.00) Students must be present to win.


Friday August 3, 2007

Class 3: 8:00am -12:00pm

“Building Maximum Efficiency into your Cleaning and Restoration Vehicles”

Vans vs. Cube Trucks vs. Trailers vs. Moving Vans vs. Semi Tractor and Trailer vs. Toter Homes with Trailers-Dot Approved, Shelving, Towing Capacity, GVW, Maximum Drying Equipment Capacity. “Bring Your Own” vehicle for hands on evaluation by Kurt Bolden. This will be limited so first come first serve.

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch

Class 4: 1:00pm - 5:00 pm

“Breaking into the Water Restoration Business”

Thinking of expanding your business and not sure where to begin? This class will teach you how to estimate water damage losses before performing the job, how to eliminate collection issues, how not to let your customer make “their problems your problem”, employee handbook, wages, bonuses, vacations, etc.

Prize Drawing 4: Hydro-X (valued at $3295.00)
Students must be present to win.

Kurt Bolden and the Boldens staff will also be giving a tour of the facility each day.
