For those of you who encap alot and have the encap brush do you find it works better or worse then the green striped pad? What are the chances of causing tip bloom with encap brush? Is there a certain type of carpet that one works better then the other? Or do you use the brush on all carpets and let the green striped pad collect dust, or do you use the brush some and the pad some?

As long as you keep the unit moving, you shouldn't have a problem.

Much as I love the Challenger, my one experience with their encap brush left me a little underwhelmed. I use either the green-striped pad, or FiberPlus or FiberMax pads when I do encap jobs.

Mark how would you determine weather to use the fiber plus or the fiber max pads?

When I first began using the Max version of the pads, I kind of held my breath, hoping they weren't going to be too aggressive. But I use them a lot now, on most all types of commercial carpet, especially if soiling or spotting is greater than average.
