just did a job this morning for an area law firm, went well except one bad coffee spot, i scrubbed and worked on it for a while but just could not get it all. maybe I'm just looking for perfection, or should that be a realistic goal, anyone with any ideas on how I can do better, or do some stains never come out. Bill, while it is true there are some stains that just won't come out, coffee quite often will. If you have some Stain Magic that will work very well, or if you have any red stain remover, that will also probably work. Most carpet cleaning supply stores carry products that will take most coffee stains out. You can also try proxide and amonia mixed 50/50. Coffee is a tannen stain and it takes different chems than just your regular cleaning agent usually.
