Plus and Max Pads

Just wondering for any of you using the fiber plus and fiber max pads with the Challenger approx how many square feet of use you get before they wear out. I seem to get about 2000 with the fiber plus which is fine, but the fiber max wear out after about 500 s.f. which is pricey.

Did a 1600 s.f. home yesterday. They were so pleased the owner took me out to look at his barn after and they have some carpeted finished areas there that were glue down. I used the fiber max with releasit on that part and was pleased with the results. This was my first experience with straight "scrub and run" encapping.

Re: Plus and Max Pads

You're right about these pads wearing out fairly quickly when used with an OP machine. It's because of the high level of agitation. They last longer when I use them on my Cimex (on the really big jobs), since a Cimex has rotary (some say planetary) motion. When OPing,
I use my green-stripe scrubbing pad first, since these last forever. If it doesn't get the job done, then I switch to a fiber pad.
