For Mark,

Mark,
How do you clean the new style shag or frieze?
I know you don't let it stop you and I just want to follow your advise.

By the way my first pay resi job went very well. I used the Sprint as a pre sprayer/ scrubber machine from Rick G and I followed up with the challenger with wet pads with a little DS sprayed on them.

Re: For Mark,

The only shag I can relate to is the old-style 70s shag. Seems they were usually orange, or some other awful color. I've seen Derek B. frequently refer to cleaning friezes, so I would suggest chasing him down and putting this question to him. If I have cleaned shag/frieze carpet, I was not aware of this designation at the time, and probably just used my Challenger, holy glider, and Argo 2-ply terry pads as I do on most everything.
Glad to hear that the job that was giving you stage fright went well.
