March Madness Contest

I'm announcing the first ever Challenger Final Four
Contest. Anyone who successfully picks the final four teams will win his or her choice of a gallon of either Outsolve (natural product) or Releasit (encap product). Due to the progess of the Tournament, picks must be made before the end of this weekend's
first round games (March 19). My picks:
Atlanta Regional: Duke
Oakland Regional: Gonzaga
WashingtonDC Reg'n'l: North Carolina
Minneapolis Reg'l: Boston College

Re: March Madness Contest

i want to participate, but i am not familiar with who is in which division or region.

i'm pushing for Syracuse, what region do they play in?

great contest idea and prizes Mark!

thanx --- Derek.

Re: March Madness Contest

Syracuse plays in the Atlanta Regional. The Orange kind of sneaked into the Tournament after a string of uncharacteristically bad losses. Fortunately for Coach Jim Boeheim, Gerry McNamara got hot late in the season, taking Syracuse to a fast finish, including winning the Big East Tournament.
Syracuse should win their opener Thursday vs.
Texas A&M. Next would be the winner of the game
between Louisiana State and Iona. If they're still standing at that point, they will in all likelihood be
facing Duke. It would be a real hoop fan's treat to be able to watch J.J. Redick AND Gerry McNamara on the floor at the same time.

Re: March Madness Contest

agreed Mark, that would be a sweet game.

my picks, if i may participate, are:

Atlanta Regional: Syracuse
Oakland Regional: Gonzaga
WashingtonDC Reg'n'l: North Carolina
Minneapolis Reg'l: Boston College

thanx! --- Derek.

Re: March Madness Contest

Sorry, Derek. Looks like Syracuse has been sent home
by Texas A&M.

Re: March Madness Contest

I am just under the wire but would like to weigh-in on the basketball championship.

2006 Final Four teams
Atlanta Regional: Texas (of course!)
Washington, D.C. Regional: North Carolina
Oakland Regional: Memphis
Minneapolis Regional: Villanova

That's my choice and I'm sticking to it!
