There have been several posts regarding Challenger wiring. We are always looking for ways to improve this machine and appreciate any of your suggestions. Lee suggests that for any existing looseness, crimp the female connector by squeezing it on its end
with pliers and then reconnect it to the male “silver” connector using needle nose pliers.
(It should click into place) Test the connection by pulling lightly on the wire. It should hold tightly and not give you any further problems. After the connection is made, you may want to put a bead of silicon caulk on the joint and let it sit undisturbed for a while.
This is only an if-you-need-it repair, most will not need to even consider it. Have a great weekend and don’t hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions.
