I have gradually added a number of related srvices to my core residential carpet cleaning business; added them in more or less this order:
--upholstery cleaning
--commercial carpet cleaning
--tile & grout cleaning & sealing
--wood floor "recoating" (no sanding required)
Now I am in the process of offering a new service:
full wood floor refinishing (sanding) using tung oil
as the finish. I can't find anyone else in the entire Boston metropolitan area Yellow Pages offering this service. It fits nicely in with my objective of being a niche service provider.
