the few times i've used a lightly damp or near dry pad to help with the drying process, the pad didn't want to stay in place and part of it would end up under the Challenger's pad driver. is this because my pad driver's velcro is getting packed with lint (i have only had my Challenger for several months andi do this part-time so i can't see how the velcro could get packed with lint already), or is this just a common occurence when running drier pads.?.
OK, it happened a bunch of times on a job this morning: REALLY irritating!
i think 1 reason it's happening is the Challenger pads are wearing thin and they don't have much for the velcro to hold onto...hasn't happened as often with my CCS or ARGO double sided cottons.j
My experience also, Derek. It's not the visible build-up in the velcro. It's the thinness of the worn
single-ply pads. I have hardly ever had a 2-ply Argo
pad roll up under the machine.
