Are gliders necessary for encapping commercial carpet using my Challenger and beige fibre plus pads? If so which one?

no need for a glider when using fiber plus pads.

I have never used a glider when using fp pads, but
have read posts on c.c. boards by people who do use
a glider with them. I guess there is no hard & fast
rule. Try it; see what it feels like, and what the
results are. Same when using the green-stripe pad
for encap.

Thanx to all who advised me on the "Gliders for Encap" Post. I demo'd a trashed carpeted area of our local hospital this morning. Came out great. Really impressed the decision makers. Tomorrow I am meeting with the decision makers and measuring rooms for carpet and chair cleaning. Quarterly contract. Life is good. May have to buy another challenger. Thanx again.
