Re: In need of route advice…

You might be better using the Facebook group, I don't think too many people use this message board these days.

Re: In need of route advice…

Hi Darren,

You could take the Corrieyairack to Melgarve, down to Garva Bridge, Laggan and then into Glen Banchor to approach that way. That has a higher route option from Garva Bridge via Carn Dearg as well. That was my original 2020 plan.

However in 2022 I went from Laggan Locks up and over into Glen Turret, along Glen Roy to Melgarve and onwards. There were other challengers that took a very similar route as well.

All the best.

Chris.

Re: In need of route advice…

Hi Darren,

Glen Tarff is gorgeous. And has a nice little bothy. The wind farm above it provides tracks to cross what must have been a nasty bog. Then all the glens running east are lovely and quiet. I took them to Aviemore, you'd just need to decide where to hop the ridges.

Mike.

Re: In need of route advice…

I've done this both ways in different years and I'd recommend them both.
