It is with much regret that I have had to withdraw from this year's challenge. I had booked accommodation which I can not now take up, and as this is in short supply I thought I would "advertise it" here, which may help other Challengers as well as the accommodation providers. I had booked as a single, but I know some of the rooms can accommodate two people:

Thursday 18 May Cranford Guest House, Braemar (Twin Room). Tel.: 01339-741675. If you book this please can you say you saw my message here - I promised the owners I would post a message to try to get my booking replaced.

Tuesday 23 May Park Hotel, Montrose. (Single Room).

KINGS HOUSE. I have not actually cancelled this as I have already paid and it is non-refundable (£49). I booked for sole occupancy but I think there is a double bunk in the room. If you are interested perhaps you can contact me direct and we can discuss how best to transfer the booking to you. Hope that makes sense!
