Re: Scots Rail tickets

The 2115 sleeper is the Highland Sleeper which serves Inverness, Fort William and Inverness; the later one at 23:50 is the Lowland Sleeper and serves Edinburgh and Glasgow

Re: Scots Rail tickets

William

The 21:15 arrives in Ft William a few minutes before 10 am. A very civilised journey.
And easier for Malling than Glasgow.

Cheers!

Re: Scots Rail tickets

Hi William.

The Euston to Glasgow Sleeper currently departs Mon to Fri & also Sat at different times

On Tue 9th (when you want to travel), it departs at 21:34 (there isn't a later train)
On Wed 10th it departs at 23:50

For both nights

A Seat is currently £50
A Classic Sleeper Berth is £225
A Club Class (that gives you guaranteed Lounge Car access) is £260.

Sadly, long gone are the days of the £19.99, £39.99 and £59.99 tickets.

Re: Scots Rail tickets

I bought a Flexible Club Solo Room ticket on the sleeper from Euston to Glasgow for £170. It departs on 10 May at 21:34.

Re: Scots Rail tickets

Thanks to everyone. I have the first part of my challenge booked - from Barbados to Mallaig.

Next part is getting to Portiethen...

I hope to meet you on the way
