We are sad to announce the death of Alex MacMillan. Alex completed his first Challenge back in 1984 and then another fourteen over the next twenty years, his last one in 2004. We send our condolences to his wife, Caitriona, also a Challenger, and to all of Alex's family. He was an especially charming and kindly man - and very good company to meet out in the hills or after a long day in them.....

Alex's funeral will be held on Monday 13th February at 13.00 at Stirling Crematorium, Falkirk Road, Bannockburn, FK7 8AJ and afterwards at King Robert Hotel.
