Fording River South Esk at NO 363 684

Has anybody forded the River South Esk at NO 363 684 (or thereabouts) or is it impassable in even favourable weather conditions? Just looking to see if fording is an option or I need to divert to one of the bridges North and South of this point.

Who knows? You might strike it lucky but I'd think it unlikely. This photo on Geograph gives an indication of what you'll likely be up against - https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4899911. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk of venturing out to the river, only to have to retreat.
