Re: River Farrar

John, the bridge at NH282384 is the main access road and is fine, but as you reference the Ford at NH226391, which I would not advise as it is slimy and slippery and horrible, I'm thinking that may not be the correct GR for the bridge you mean?

Re: River Farrar

If you mean the bridge marked on the old OS maps at Inchvuilt NH230387, it is not marked on up to date maps, it had been derelict for years and now I think it is gone.

Re: River Farrar

Sorry - didn't have my glasses on ! Bridge I am asking about is NH 262384 leading to Allt Innis na Larach and Bealach a Bhaca.

Re: River Farrar

Oh, that is still there! Crossed it last May. Keep to the path to the left of the Allt Innis na Larach would be my advice, there is a bit of a landslip further up, I know some that went high and followed deer trods to bypass it, I stayed low by the river and found it easy enough, might be harder when in spate. Once over the watershed I headed down to the new track for the hydro, just to avoid going downhill over rough, boggy, steep ground.

Re: River Farrar

Thanks for the info.
