Re: Monadhliath Fort Augustus to Aviemore any recommendations?

If you pop 'Monadhliath' into the search bar above there will be various discussions that might help, or there are lots of Challenge blogs out there with ideas, enjoy your planning!

Re: Monadhliath Fort Augustus to Aviemore any recommendations?

Avoiding the wind farms gets harder every year. I’ve done the Corrieyairack pass and twice through the windfarms. I would have to say that the Corrieyairack pass is the one I’m least likely to repeat -straightforward but uninspiring. I may be alone in finding the wind farms beautiful, but they make it possible to get straight into Aviemore and avoid roadwalking up the A9. Avoiding the windfarms means going extreme North or South (I’m planning on South next year via Dalwhinnie and Spittal of Glenmuick).

This is an old blogpost of mine, but should still help with your planning.
