Anyone planning a route through Dundee might be interested to know that our community campsite is now open here in Tayport. The site is on the edge of Tentsmuir forest, with a beautiful beach about 10 minutes’ walk away. There is a café on site (10am to 4pm) and a Co-Op about half a mile up the road. You can get there easily in about 10 minutes on the No 42 bus from Dundee city centre. A ‘backpacker’ pitch will be £12 for one and £17 for two people (link).
