It is with sadness that another TGOC Legend Dr David Emerson passed away on Thu 3rd Nov at approx 3.00 am
David and Shirley achieved their 10th back in the early 1990's having started when it was the Ultimate Challenge.
They inspired me to do my first with Lucy back in 1995.
Even met us in Braemar and took us out for a slap up meal.
David was a true hero, always interested in the TGOC and my routes and pictures, and always supportive.
Some may still remember David from the early days.
Some people don't get on with their In-Laws, mine were/are wonderful.
We will be raising a glass to David with Shirley on Christmas Day.
