Utterly devastating news. I met Hugh and Barbara on my first Challenge, in the bus stop at Inverness on the way to our start point at Shiel Bridge and we have kept in touch over the years. I am so, so sorry to hear this, my condolences and love to the family.
Condolences to Hugh and family. Barbara was a gem. I have walked with them on several occasions over the years. 😢
That’s terrible news. So sad. We met a couple of times. Condolences to Hugh and family
In happier times..
Gone but not forgotten.
So very sad to hear this devastating news. I always remember the time at Aboyne 1st time we met Hugh & Barbara, she said everybody keeps asking me what kind of tent I have, the answer was a green one. Will never forget that moment lovely, lovely person.Condolences to Hugh and family.
Very sad news. A lovely lady who will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.
Oh no, this year is turning out to be even more disasterous than I would have though possible.
I'm really saddened to hear of Baraba's passing, another legend gone - but not to be forgotten.
I am so sorry to hear this. Barbara and I were first timers together and she was one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever hope to meet – she will be greatly missed.
Love to Hugh and all the family.
This is a great sadness. Always a joy to meet with Barbara, filled with good cheer and merriment. We shall miss her terribly.
