The new normal

I imagine that there are a few frustrated challengers planning on doing at least something in Scotland this year if they can. The lifting of the lockdown is going to be a long slow affair, I think the process has not been helped by the sight a few weeks ago of thousands descending on the likes of Balloch , Tarbert and Luss where there was no parking, toilets or shops etc open. That, along with images of what happened in England when travel restrictions were lifted, no doubt scared the life out of those responsible for controlling the lifting of lockdown without letting Covid-19 loose again. In Scotland the emphasis is still very much "Stay home".

At the moment it looks like a significant lifting of restrictions is timetabled for 15th July, depending on a continued decline in cases of C-19. I came across this link for the planning being done for the Cairngorms National Park.

It isn't a return to normal but at least it is something.

Stay safe.
