Re: WAGGY

Sad news. I first met him in the cafe at The Lecht Ski centre. He and his companion(David?) were watching me struggle up the road to the ski centre, stopping at every day snow pole to catch breath. They gave me a round of applause when I finally made it to the cafe. I walked with them for a good part of the day enroute to Strathdon. Lovely man. Introduce me to what he called his ‘kangaroo bag’ (it’s folds into a pouch). I have one now that I carry all the time. So handy. So thank you Waggy for that little gem. I’m too late for the drink but I will toast him tonight at 8pm. RIP Waggy. Lovely man.

Re: WAGGY

Well said Sam.

If you spent any time at all in Waggy's company, you were definitely the better for it. I spent many days walking with him and he added so much to a walking group. A fine musician and singer amongst many other talents, but really just a good bloke to be around.
