Incredible story this morning. Two MRTs (Cairngorm & Tayside) were scrambled to search for an "injured" walker in the Ben Alder area in the middle of Storm Brenden.
He had given a grid reference where he was supposed to be with a "leg injury" but they couldn't find him there.

He was found safe and well and tucked up in his sleeping bag in Ben Alder Bothy and remained there with his friends while the heroes faced the long walk back again. I can only begin to imagine what conditions were like out there last night. To think a lot of those brave folks will have been turning up for work as normal this morning.
