Cambus O'May bridge

The Cambus O'May bridge over the Dee is to be repaired...…..

Re: Cambus O'May bridge

So the alleged cost for this repair is £400,000. I'm not a civil engineer, so I've no idea whether this is scale.

Right now it appears that Aberdeenshire Council are willing to pony up £250,000. And that a local charity - Ballater Royal Deeside - have gotten so far £15K of their £150,000 target.

Leaving, currently, a £135,000 shortfall. The charity are doing their best to make up the differential.

I've no idea how much Charlie Windsor may put in from his pocket (The repair work will be part-funded by a donation from the Prince. Source: BBC NE Scotland, Orkney & Shetland, 13/11/2019). We provide him and his extended family with a living ...

Re: Cambus O'May bridge

The Prince of Wales gets nothing from the public purse. All his money comes from the Duchy of Cornwall. Don’t think you will find many people in the area being disparaging about the Royals. They are well liked and have done a lot for Deeside.
I wouldn’t do their job for twice the money they receive.
