Rain - do read this if yr in the humour

The very wonderul Bryan Talbot - who those amongst us who enjoy graphic novels will know full well - published yesterday Rain. Which is, yes, a polemic, and also a serious examination of the impact of grievious
mis-management of upland environments.

Sure, there may be those amongst our Big Tent who are, shall we say, uncomfortable with this particular format. Or may be reluctant to splash out the equivalent of, um, four pints of craft beer...

Be that as it may. It's a mighty piece of work.

Thanks for the heads-up Humphrey.
Interestingly (coincidently?) the mis-management of the moorland above Hebden Bridge, the 'wild Bronte moorland' referred to in the book, is subject to a lot of local criticism and concern.
It's strongly suspected that the mis-management is a very significant contributor to the floods the area has suffered in recent years.
Landowners deny all responsibility.
