Kirsten's photos

Here's my 2019 Challenge in photos.

I've struggled with Google photos to put titles on each without success so you'll have to go to "info" on each picture if you want to know where they were taken, (or you might just be happy scrolling through them). There were some fairly lengthy periods when I took no pictures either because I've photographed the views before and in better conditions, or because it was just raining too much, or I just was too busy enjoying being there and forgot.

Re: Kirsten's photos

I recognise a lot of these places, what a lovely route! Interested in Suie onwards. Thanks Kirsten!

Re: Kirsten's photos

Thanks for posting pics and detail--we enjoyed our fine "virtual walk" along the rest of your route, maps to hand, as well as our real live feet on the ground walk with you Kirsten. We are still talking about your apricot bars, which are THE BEST.

Re: Kirsten's photos

Thanks, Martha, and if you need the recipe I'll send it, just drop me an email.
Hope to see you next year.

Re: Kirsten's photos

I rested for half an hour at Suie bothy on Sunday 19th May and saw from the visitors book that someone from the Challenge had stayed there the previous night. I am presuming it was you! It's a very isolated spot and I found the path up the Kymah Burn petered out on the top and left me with lots of jumping over the peat hags.

Re: Kirsten's photos

Lovely pictures, especially the totally calm Loch nan Gillean reflecting the hills. What a wonderful morning!
Definitely have to visit Suie Bothy sometime, it looks very cosy.
