Holy grail

Hi all, well I think that I’ve cracked the holy grail of dehydrating, I’ve managed to dehydrate some whiskey and it works, ive been trying to do this for years now and have finally cracked it!!
1 teaspoon for a single and two spoons for a double,it works as I fell off my settee last night
But it looks like coffee though!! So I’d better not forget which is which,🤪🤪

Re: Holy grail

In case of a water shortage is it ok just to suck on the powder.

Over the years I have only been able to convert whisky into second hand water.

Sounds like you have a winner.

Re: Holy grail

You wont get me on them fumes :joy:

Re: Holy grail

I see you've succeeded in dehydrating the Irish stuff but how about the Real Whisky from Scotland ? :fire:

Re: Holy grail

I shall be carrying the original hydrated version as backup..

Re: Holy grail

Does it preserve the taste? In the cupboard I currently have Laphroaig and Grouse. If it ruins the taste I'll use the Grouse. If it will taste like neat peat as I'm sitting on a boggy bit of ground, I'll risk the good stuff, but if it just comes out as vaguely whisky tasting, it would be a waste.

Plus, did you use a dehydrator and, if so, what temperature and for how long?

You can see, I take this seriously!
