I went through the Fetteresso on my first crossing and have avoided it ever since, but it is back in my plans for this year.

I read your information with great interest, as I am curious about the changes I will see due to the 'works' that have taken place since I last set foot there.

I have received an update from Land & Forestry Scotland (the new name for the Forestry Commission), forestry work around Brae of Glenbervie in the Fetteresso, centred on NO764858, will be ongoing until June, meaning that two of the three options on the southern route are closed off during the TGOC. The Finglennie option should still be usable. This is the lilac, most northerly of the three options on this map.
