Re: Belated 2018 blog and this year's planning

Hope you have a great time. I had to abort my first Challenge because of illness (me, not family). In some ways it made my successful crossing two years later even sweeter.

Re: Belated 2018 blog and this year's planning

Hope you have a good crossing.
I like seeing other people's kit lists, always gives me ideas, if only 'ohh, I wouldn't take that' lol
I'm usually around 11kg, can't seem to get it lower!
What kind of powerbank do you use? I'm looking for one, but honesty have no idea what's good

Re: Belated 2018 blog and this year's planning

I use an Anker IQ 10000mAh - I’ve had it a while so there will be newer stuff out there, but it was well reviewed at the time. It weighs 180g which is pretty good for its capacity. It will recharge my iPhone at least three times (the SE is quite small battery capacity but has a smaller screen than most so it’s battery life is good). I use it in flight mode most of the time and make sure that there are no unwanted apps running in the background to maximise battery life.

Thanks for the info :relaxed:
